Marketing Manager

JoeFerg Sports - Silver Spring is currently searching for a Marketing Manager. This position will create and manage corporate sponsor accounts, develop the corporate league program, and be responsible for marketing/advertising the league. Other duties include management of publicity elements, generating marketing opportunities, and coordinating special events.

Responsibilities:

Generates and manages sponsor accounts.
Promotes interest in the league within local communities.
Works to develop corporate league program.
Manages overall publicity elements including: online, print and community event promotions.
Coordinates tournament-related special events and elements.
Creates unique opportunities for our sponsors and other important relationships.

Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree and previous related work experience.
Must have exceptional communication skills.
Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and highly motivated to take ownership of projects and show great pride in their work, "service mentality", ability to multi-task projects.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Officials

Referees Wanted Our sports leagues are professional and organized and each game is taken very seriously. We are looking for qualified individuals to referee our sports. Referees will be hired for a full season and will be paid on a weekly basis, following each game. Some experience is necessary; however individuals who posses a working knowledge of the sport are ideal.

We offer $500-$2000/season for qualified individuals. The season lasts roughly 8-10 weeks.

We have an immediate need for:

Soccer Refs (3 openings)
Basketball Refs (3 openings)
Football Refs (2 openings)
Softball Umpires (4 openings)
